Challenging Times

The Butler Collection is my first love. I have been operating my jewelry kiosk for 10 years and managing every aspect of design, production, and ensuring customers have in an individualized and personalized experience. The beauty I find in jewels is parallel to beauty in connecting with people and their stories. My favorite part of the job is hearing about your love stories, anniversary tales, and birthday moments. Being able to connect with each other through our stories on an individual and personal level is why I do what I do. I am blessed to have a job where I am able to merge my passion for creating and connecting and experience such a fulfilling journey.

These past 12 months have been a trying time for everyone. Small businesses have been negatively impacted the most and owners are trying their best to stay afloat. Unfortunately, these challenging times directly affected the human traffic and connection that is an integral aspect of The Butler Collection. The shutdown of malls and non-essential businesses has impact us directly. I was very overwhelmed,  like so many small business owner. But I reflected on my journey up till this moment and the experiences my customers have shared with me throughout the years and my favorite quotes from Doe Zantamata came to mind.

It is only in our darkest hours that we may discover the true strength of the brilliant light within ourselves that can never, ever, be dimmed.

I have always tried to motivate and encourage others, and stay positive. Hence I decided to rise to the challenge and put in the time, and effort to create an online presence that could emulate the in-person experiences I had with my customers. This has been a bumpy but fulfilling experience. I am ecstatic to be entering this new chapter of The Butler Collection.

When Storefronts are open with strict sanitation and interaction guidelines. I am excited to interact with my community once more as I am sure many of you are itching to as well. As we enter this next phase of new normal, remember to continue being patient with the ongoing change in life and remember to treasure your loved ones around you. Stop by the kiosk or connect with me on Instagram or Facebook. I look forward to catching up with you.

With love,
Heather
